Three South Fork Utility District Commissioners Who Remain On The Board Of The Bristol Tennessee Utility, Will Have To Wait A Bit Longer To Know If They’ll Be Removed From Their Positions. A Scheduled Contested Case Hearing In Nashville Set For July 14Th Has Been Postponed Due To A Health Issue Involving A Tennessee Comptroller Of The Treasury Staff Member. The Removal Of The Utility’S Board Members Is Being Sought After An Investigative Report From The State Comptroller In April Found The District Paid 1.6 Million Dollars In Payments That Are Considered A Conflict Of Interest To The District Manager. A New Hearing Date Has Not Yet Been Scheduled.
