The Sullivan County Commission Has Given A Thumbs Up To An Interlocal Agreement With Kingsport Concerning Annexing 200 Acres New West Ridge High School. The State Requires This Type Of Agreement Before A City Can Annex Non-Contiguous Property. Meanwhile, A Decision Concerning The Pay-To-Stay Program For County Inmates Has Once Again Be Postponed. The Program Would Force Inmates To Pay $35 A Day. It’s Expected To Be Back On The Agenda At A Later Date.
