A Local Cemetery Has Been Fined Over 1400 Dollars For Alleged Financial And Maintenance Issues. Church Hill Memory Gardens Was Ordered To Pay A Civil Penalty And Investigation Cost After A 2021 Audit Revealed The Cemetery’s Registration Had Expired Four Months Prior. A Further Investigation Showed 8 Months Later The Cemetery Had Still Not Obtained Registration And Failed To Deposit The Minimum From 13 Contracts Into It’s Improvement Trust Fund. The Cemetery Did Get Its Registration Renewal In April Of This Year.
