The Tennessee Bureau Of Investigation Has Released The Name Of The Person Shot And Killed In An Officer-Involved Shooting In Carter County. The Man Is Identified As 38 Year Old Daniel Raymond Honeycutt Of Kingsport. Authorities Said He Had Been Allegedly Threatening Residents With A Gun At A Home In The 100 Block Of Woodland Heights Road Last Friday Morning. When Deputies Arrived At The Scene, Honeycutt Allegedly Raised A Gun And Charged At An Officer, Before The Deputy Fired Shots And Killed Him. No Further Information Is Being Released At This Time As The Investigation Is Continuing.
