A Hurley Virginia Man Accused In A Weekend Shooting Is Being Held Without Bond In The Southwest Virginia Regional Jail In Haysi. 77 Year Old Ernest Clayton Young Is Charged With Felony Attempted Breaking And Entering, Felony Arson Of An Occupied Dwelling, Felony Firearm Used In The Commission Of A Felony And Public Intoxication. The Buchanan County Sheriff’S Office Said Young Had Been Intoxicated And Was Looking For A Family Member When He Fired At A Family Member’S Home In The Mill Creek Area Saturday As Well As Their Vehicle. No One Was In The Home Or Vehicle At The Time. Young Has A Hearing Set Today In General District Court.
