The Kingsport Fire Department Has Purchased New Equipment With The Funds From The American Rescue Plan Act. A Large Portion Of The 760 Thousand Dollars Was Spent On Purchasing 60 New Self Contained Breathing Apparatus. The Remaining Funds Will Go Towards New Bunker Gear, Cardiac Monitors, Thermal Cameras And High Rise Hose Packs.
