A Woman Has Filed A Lawsuit In Federal Court In Greeneville Alleging The Hawkins County Board Of Education Subjected Her Son To Racially Motivated Peer Harassment. The 2.5 Million Dollar Lawsuit Claims The Student, Who Was Enrolled At Church Hill Middle School, Was Repeatedly Called A Racial Slur, And Other Racial Epithets. The School System Said In A Statement They Disagree With The Assertions Made In The Lawsuit And Will Defend Themselves In Court Against Any Claims To The Contrary.
