The Bristol Tennessee Police Department Has Released Details Surrounding The Circumstances Leading To A Standoff. Officers Responded To A Report Of A Man With A Gun At A Residence In The 600 Block Of 6th Street On Thursday. Witnesses At The Scene Told Investigators 41 Year Old Roger Dale Buchanan Had Been In A Physical Altercation With Someone, Brandished A Firearm, Threatened Nearby People And Fired Several Rounds Into The Ground, Before Retreating Into The Home. Crisis Negotiators Intervened And Buchanan Was Taken Into Custody Without Incident. He Is Charged With Reckless Endangerment, And Five Separate Counts Of Aggravated Assault. He Is Being Held On 10 Thousand Dollars Bond.
