Kingsport Residents Could Be Paying More In Water And Sewer Rates Next Fiscal Year. During A Work Session The Board Of Mayor And Aldermen Discussed A 7.5 Percent Water Increase And A 13.5 Percent Increase On Sewer Rates. Deputy City Manager Ryan Mcreynolds Said The Increases Are Proposed As Costs Go Up And Revenues Have Remained Flat. A New 2022-23 Fiscal Year Budget Will Have To Be Approved Before July 1st.
