Carter County Sheriff’s Deputies Dragged A Man To Safety After He Allegedly Set Fire To A Home. Deputies Were Called To The Home On Rittertown Road Tuesday Evening In Regards To A Suicidal Person. The Man Fired Shots While The Deputies Were Attempting To Talk With Him. He Then Set A Piece Of Furniture On Fire Inside The Home. The Man Was Unable To Get Out Of The Home Unassisted. He Was Transported To A Nearby Hospital For Treatment.
