A Final Report On The Bristol Virginia Landfill Has Been Released By The Virginia Department Of Environmental Quality. The Panel Recommended Several Actions To Help Control The Odors, Including Construction Of A Sidewall Odor Mitigation System Around The Landfill And Urged The City To Stop Using The Landfill While These Measures Were Underway. The Report Also States The Condition Of The Landfill Has Potential To Worsen Unless Immediate Action Is Taken.
