Testimony Will Resume This Morning In The Trial Of A Bristol Virginia Police Officer Accused Of Murder. Jonathan Brown Is Also Charged With Use Of A Firearm In The Commission Of Murder And Malicious Shooting Into An Occupied Vehicle. In Opening Statements The Commonwealth Said There Were Three Silent Witnesses To The Alleged Shooting As Well As Three Surveillance Cameras Outside The Rodeway Inn. Brown’S Attorney Told Jurors That Brown Had Half A Second To Make A Decision To Shoot Or Be Run Over. Brown Fired Six Times Hitting Kohler In The Head Once. The Defense Attorney Also Said Kohler Had Threatened To Shoot Up The Motel Earlier. The Trial Is Expected To Last Several Days.
