The Johnson City Housing Authority Will Once Again Resume Administration Of Roughly A Million Dollars In Federal Funding From Three Government Agencies. The Change Comes In Light Of An Increase In The Demand For Housing, A Jump In Construction Activity, And Major Overhauls Getting Underway. The Authority Had Previously Contracted Out The Handling Of The Funds After A Number Of Employees Retired, Leaving The Remaining Staff Stretched Too Thin. Two Full-Time Staff Members Will Be Hired To Provide Support For The Additional Responsibilities.
