Funding For A New Intermediate School In Bristol Virginia Has Been Approved. The City’s Industrial Development Authority Has Voted To Fund The 27-Million Dollar Project. This Comes After Both The School Board And City Council Gave Their Approval. The Plan Is To Close Stonewall Jackson, Highland View, And Washington-Lee Elementary Schools. The New School Will Be Built On Property Adjacent To Van Pelt Elementary School And Will House 3Rd Through 5Th Graders. Ground Is Expected To Be Broken In June, With The School Set To Open In The Fall Of 2024.
