The Abingdon Town Council Has Decided To Add A Special Election To The Ballot In Order To Fill The Council Seat Once Held By James “Scabbo” Anderson Who Died Recently. In The Meantime, The Council Plans To Appoint Someone Temporarily To Fill The Seat Until The November Election. The Town Council Has 45 Days To Name A Replacement Through The Appointment Process. The Council Appointed Vice Mayor Donna Quetsch To Take Anderson’s Place In Presenting The Town Council On The Abingdon Planning Commission.
