The Carter County Commission’s Budget Committee Has Decided To Wait A Few Weeks Before Reconsidering Bonuses And Pay Raises For The Sheriff’s Office And County Employees. The Proposal By Commissioner Aaron Frazier Is A 3-Thousand Dollar Retention Bonus For The Sheriff’S Office Employees, With A 2-Thousand Dollar Pay Increase To County Workers, Which Would Be On A Sliding Scale. The Budget Committee Is Expected To Make A Decision On The Matter During The Next Meeting On February 14Th.
