A Man Killed By Police In Nashville Last Week Was Originally From Greene County. He Was Identified As 37 Year Old Landon Eastep. Metro Nashville Police Said Eastep Was Agitated And Carry A Box Cutter Before He Was Shot After Reaching And Pretending To Have A Gun. Officers Made Numerous Attempted To Get Him To Drop The Knife Before Firing Their Weapons. Eastep Had A Long Criminal Record And Had Been Booked Into The Greene County Jail 29 Times Over A 16 Year Period. The Shooting Remains Under Investigation By The Tbi.
