A Cora Cox Academy Student In Kingsport Is In Custody After Allegedly Pointing A Gun Toward At Least One Other Student. The Kingsport Police Department Responded To The School On Myrtle Street Wednesday Where They Found The 16 Year Old Student With A Loaded Handgun. They Were Able To Disarm Him. An Investigation Revealed The Student Had Allegedly Pointed The Weapon At Another Student And Attempted To Commit An Armed Robbery. No One Was Hurt And Charges Are Pending.
