A Bristol Tennessee Man Has Been Charged In Connection With The Shooting Of A Sullivan County Sheriff’S Deputy. 54 Year Old Alan Coulter Is Charged With Two Counts Of Attempted First Degree Murder, Reckless Endangerment, Possession Of A Firearm By A Convicted Felon And Use Of A Weapon During The Commission Of A Dangerous Felony. Authorities Said When Deputies Were Approaching An Outbuilding, Coulter Allegedly Fired Through The Door, Striking The Officer. The Deputy Remains Hospitalized, But Is Expected To Make A Full Recovery. Coulter Reportedly Has An Extensive Criminal History. He’S Being Held In The Detention Center And Is Expected To Appear In Court Soon For Arraignment.
