The Hawkins County Emergency Management Agency Has Purchased 70 New Automated External Defibrillator Devices. The 100-Thousand Dollar Purchase Was Made Using A Government Support Grant. County Ema Director Jamie Miller Said The Devices Will Be Placed In Various Public County-Owned Buildings And Vehicles. Some Of Them Will Also Be Given To Numerous Volunteer Fire Departments And Rescue Squads Throughout The County. In Addition, Compact Trauma Kits Were Also Provided To The Sheriff’S Office.
