The Kingsport Police Department Is Attempting To Generate New Leads Involving A 2003 Suspicious Death Cold Case. On March 8Th, Police Responded To Lowell Drive Where The Body Of A Woman Was Found Lying In A Vacant Lot. She Was Later Identified As 51 Year Old Joyce Ann Mcbride. There Were Several Visible Abrasions And Contusions Observed On Her Face And Body. An Autopsy Indicated The Cause Of Death Was Blunt Force Trauma, But The Manner Of Her Death Has Not Been Determined. Police Hope To Bring Renewed Attention To This Cold Case And Generate Some New Leads. Anyone With Information Should Call Kingsport Police.
