The Bristol Virginia City Council Has Decided On First Reading, To Move Local Elections From May To November. City Leaders Will Ask The Virginia General Assembly To Allow The Change To The City Charter. Mary Anthony Farnum Said May Elections Generally Produce A Small Turnout And He Believes Numbers Will Be Higher In November. Final Reading Is Set For Later This Month.
