A Day After The Groundbreaking For The New K-8 County School In Jonesborough Tennessee Washington County Budget Committee Members Learned The Town Will Borrow An Additional 10 Million Dollars From The Untied States Department Of Agriculture To Cover The Remaining Expenses. The Additional Cost Is Expected To Add A Little Less Than 500 Thousand Dollars To The County’s Annual Outlay For The New School.
