Southwest Virginia Is Receiving Just Over 120-Thousand Dollars Of Nearly 7-Million Dollars In Statewide Grant Funding. Just Over 52-Thousand Dollars Will Go To Emory & Henry College For Agriculture Research In Smyth And Washington Counties. Meanwhile, Just Over 68-Thousand Dollars Was Provided To The Appalachian Council For Innovation Business Continuity And Resiliency. Those Funds Will Benefit Bland, Wythe And Tazewell Counties.  This Funding Was Part Of A Package Of Economic Boosts Recently Announced By Governor Northam.
