The Jonesborough Board Of Mayor And Aldermen Has Approved The Design And Cost Increase Of A New K-8 School. Ground Will Be Broken Next Week On The 140,000 Square Foot Facility On North Cherokee Street. The New School Is Expected To Cost 42 Million Dollars, Which The Town Will Pay, And Then Lease To The County Over The Next 30 Years. Construction Is Expected To Take About Two Years To Complete.
