It’s Going To Cost More To Build A New Elementary School In Jonesborough. About Ten Million Dollars More To Be Exact. Rising Material Costs Are Pushing Prices Higher. Jonesborough Had Planned To Borrow A Little Over 32 Million And Have Washington County Pay Them Back, But The Final Renderings Show The Cost Is Much Higher. It Will Now Be Up To Washington County Commissioner To Vote On Whether To Approve Increasing The Loan Amount, So Construction Can Get Underway In Just A Few Week.
