The Carter County Commission Has Given A Thumbs Up To Spending Millions To Expand Internet Access To Rural Sections Of The County. County Leaders Will Use 2.5 Million From The American Rescue Plan On Top Of The $600,000 That Has Already Been Set Aside For The Project. The State Will Pitch In Seven Million. The Project Will Expand Internet Service To County Districts 1, 2, And Six And Will Be Provided By Sky Best.
