Southwest Virginia Could Lose A Seat In The Upcoming Proposed Statewide Redistricting Plans Released This Week. The Redistricting Commission Is Reviewing Two Separate Versions Of Proposed Plans For Both The House And Senate, Which Would Combine And Realign What Are Currently The 4th And 5th House Districts In Southwest Virginia. These Are Seats Currently Held By Delegate Will Wampler Of Abingdon And Delegate Israel O’quinn Of Bristol. The Commission Has Until October 10th To Submit Its Final Recommendations To The General Assembly.
