Michael Gillis, The Director Of Hunger First In Kingsport, Has Filed A One-Million Dollar Lawsuit In U.S. District Court In Greeneville Against The City Of Kingsport And Three Officers. Gillis Filed The Suit In Response To His Disorderly Conduct Arrest In August Of Last Year. He’s Claiming His 4Th Amendment Rights Were Violated Through An Unlawful Seizure, The Use Of Excessive Force And With Inadequate Training. The Defendants Named In The Lawsuit Include The City And Police Officers Joseph Malone, Nickolaus Rambo, And Travis Bates. A Hearing Date Has Not Been Announced.
