A TENNESSEE HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER ACCUSED OF SHOVING A STUDENT INTO A LOCKER HAS BEEN ACQUITTED OF THE SIMPLE ASSAULT CHARGE. 41 YEAR OLD CARL JENKINS WAS CHARGED AFTER AUTHORITIES REVIEWED THE INCIDENT. DURING HIS CIVIL WAR RE-ENACTMENT CLASS, THE 62 YEAR OLD TEACHER WAS ACCUSED OF SHOVING THE BOY FOR MISBEHAVING IN A WAY JENKINS THOUGHT WAS INAPPROPRIATE. THE STUDENT WASN’T INJURED IN THE INCIDENT. JUDGE MARK TOOHEY FOUND THE TEACHER NOT GUILTY.
