A Washington County Tennessee Grand Jury Has Cleared The Daughter Of A Johnson City Police Officer Of Any Wrongdoing For Shooting A Man Who Pointed A Gun At Her. The Incident Occurred In The Cherry Street Parking Lot On April 24Th. District Attorney General Ken Baldwin Said Cheyenne Rooker Shot Levon Hinton Once In The Back As He Walked Toward A Group Of People He’d Been In An Altercation With Earlier, Racking His Weapon. Rooker Apparently Made The Decision She Needed To Take Action To Protect Those People. Tennessee Law Said She Was Within Her Rights To Do So In Order To Prevent Death Or Serious Injury.
