The Investigation Continues By The TBI Into An Officer Involved Shooting In Kingsport. It Happened Early Thursday Morning At West Side Inn On West Stone Drive. 54 Year Old Lisa Short Was Allegedly Banging On A Door Armed With A Firearm. Officers Arrived And Encountered Short Who Was Armed With A Pistol. Multiple Commands Were Given For Short To Drop Her Weapon Which Were Ignored. An Officer Shot Short Who Was Taken To An Area Hospital And Later Succumbed To Her Injuries. No Officers Were Injured In The Incident.
