The Tennessee Bureau Of Investigation Is Probing An Officer-Involved Shooting In Kingsport. It Happened Around 5:20 This Morning At West Side Inn On West Stone Drive. A Complainant Stated A White Female Suspect Was Banging On His Door And Was Armed With A Firearm. Multiple Police Officers Arrived On The Scene And Encountered The Suspect Who Was Armed With A Pistol. Numerous Commands Were Given To The Suspect For Her To Drop The Weapon, Which Went Unheeded. An Officer Shot The Suspect And She Was Taken To An Area Hospital For Treatment. Her Condition Is Unknown At This Time. No Officers Or Citizens Were Injured During The Incident.
