The City Of Kingsport Has Secured Funding To Build Sidewalks In Colonial Heights Along Fort Henry Drive. The 5-Foot Wide Paths Will Go From Colonial Heights Road To Lakecrest Drive. 95-Percent Of The Project Is Being Paid For By The Tennessee Department Of Transportation Using Grant Funding, Which Requires The Remaining 5-Percent, Or Just Over 35-Thousand Dollars To Be Provided By The City. The Project Is Still In The Planning Phase.
