Rapper Bryan “Baby” Williams otherwise known as Birdman was among 16 people arrested on marijuana charges during a traffic stop in Kingsport. He faces charges of possession of over 1/2 ounce of marijuana. Lt. Jerry Robinson said the arrests came on Interstate 81 after the group’s tour vehicle was stopped by Corporal Tim Horne….

Birdman’s brother Ronald “Godfather” Williams, was also arrested. They are the founders of Cash Money Records. This isn’t the first time Birdman has had a brush with the law. He was arrested last year in Miami on drug and fraud charges. Hits featuring Birdman include “Stuntin’ Like My Daddy” and “Army Gunz.” All 16 have reportedly made bond from the Sullivan County Detention Center. All are set to be arraigned this morning in General Sessions Court in Kingsport.robinson1.mp3
