The Intercity Ballet of Kingsport will be presenting the holiday classic (and their 45 Annual performance of) “The Nutcracker” on December 12th, 13th, and 14th at the Toy F. Reid Eastman Employee Center Auditorium.
Ticket pricing:
- $10 for festival seating in the balcony
- $15 for reserved seating on the main floor
- $25 for reserved seating in the scholarship section

“Intercity Ballet Theatre, a non-profit organization, is unique in its approach of bringing dancers from around the region together to share the beloved holiday tradition. Dancers of all ages hailing from Gate City to Jonesborough will take the stage to tell the story of Clara, a young girl who receives a beautiful Nutcracker doll on Christmas Eve. The magical doll comes to life and takes Clara on a journey through a winter wonderland and then to the Land of Sweets, where she meets dancers from all over the world. “
Intercity Ballet will offer two performances for local schools as well. The show will be presented free to 4,500 students, teachers, and bus drivers at 9:30am on December 12 and 13. The public is also welcome to attend these performances where the tickets will be available at the door and admission is a $5 donation to the senior center.
